We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The personal data we collect
We collect personal data that you give us when you contact us, send a project brief, or otherwise communicate with us. This typically includes:
- Your name
- Your email address and, where provided, telephone number
- Your company name and role
- The contents of your message and any project information you share
- Technical data automatically logged by our hosting provider when you visit the Site, such as IP address, browser type, device type and referrer
We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as data revealing health, ethnicity, religion or political opinions). Please do not include such data in messages you send us.
3. How we use your data and our lawful basis
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and assess whether we can help. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in operating our business and engaging with prospective clients.
- To enter into and perform a contract with you, where you become a client. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To protect the security and integrity of the Site. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the business — for example email and productivity tools, hosting providers and similar processors. We use only providers that offer appropriate safeguards.
- Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited) only where you have consented to analytics cookies. See our Cookies Policy for the specific cookies set and how to opt out.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where strictly necessary.
- Public authorities where we are required to do so by law, regulation or court order.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the UK (for example, hosting in the EU or US). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards under the UK GDPR typically the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision made by the UK Government.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from the date of your last contact, unless you become a client. Where you become a client, we keep records for up to 7 years following the end of the engagement to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Server logs and similar technical data are retained for a shorter period, typically up to 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate a security incident.
7. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Be informed about how we use your personal data
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your personal data, in certain circumstances
- Restrict our processing of your personal data
- Object to our processing of your personal data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability)
- Not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling — we do not carry out such decision-making
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted to us over the internet.
